I see Dad, flick, flick flicking at this remote thinggy, I'm not quite sure what it does but it for sure drives Mam demented.

On the road again

When my parents said they wanted to show me the world, I didn't think I was going happen all in two months!

Ahh it's no so bad, it's always great to meet the extended family and the journey to Kildare wasn't too bad. Today I got to play with Emily and Daniel, I got to use a dummy for the first time, interesting ...... and got to do some exercises on a massive football, all in all a trip worth doing.

My friend Katie

No I haven't started to talk about myself in the third person, no it's my friend Katie from Wexford. While Mam and Olive where chatting over cups of tea, Katie B was teaching me how to break out of a playpen.

Lots of washing to be done.

Mam always mentions that there are so much of my clothes that has to be cleaned and ironed day in day out. So I've come up with a plan, at the end of each day just put me in the washing on the crinkle free cycle ... hey presto washed clothes, washed baby and no ironing.

Get the club points not the point

Who needs to save for a holiday I say, just spend like mad in the shoppping malls, take in all the junk mail that comes in the door, and sure enough a non transferable, restricted departure date, one way ticket, to an airport just 4.5 hours from the actual location I would like to visit, will come swaning in the door, it's that easy.

Oh look it now appears that the family has just won the oppportunity to win the lotto in Azzerbysomewhere?
Now where is Dad's credit card to secure a share in the winning ticket.

Daddy I'm home

I'm home, I'm tired, I missed you Dad.

Boy was that a long trip home, although I did get a bit of sleep on the plane and in the car. And Ireland, you haven't changed a bit!

And now the time has come today

Last day here in the olde US of A and for once we took it nice, slow and easy, well we have to really, there's a long trip ahead of us tonight.
I wonder if much has changed in the olde country?

Talk about early birthday

Seeing as this is the last weekend of the summer holiday, Uncle Richard came over, and had a little surprise for me, an early birthday party with my cousins. It's been an interesting day, on the boat, on the beach and then party all night, really I can't wait to get home :-) .

I'm off in the boat

Remember how a couple of weeks ago I said I'd make that fishing trip, well today, after alot of chatter with Mam I manged to get onto the boat. This is stage 2 of my plan, and the hardest hurdle, to convince Mam to alow me onto the boat. Next stage is the trip itself.

I can reach just reach it

Nearly a month here in America now, and even though I've enjoyed every minute, there are always times when you just have to find something to do, to kill time.

In this picture you can see I've set myself the challenge of retrieving my favourite ball, minutes of fun, then fustration, anger and finally sadness, but you don't have to see the other 3 pictures.

Beach Babies

Finally a nice fresh day here on Long Island, so off to the beach for Claire and myself, a couple of "Beach Babies".

11 months at bat

Wow I'm 11 months old today, man that time has flown, and now only 1 month away from my special 1 year anniversary, I can't wait.

Let's eat

I was feeling a little hungry today, and I really wanted to start feeding myself, but nothing would go into my mouth, so I decided to do a littte training with Megan first, you know I've been told practice makes perfect.

Water Baby

I've been to the beach a couple of times, but with all that sand getting into my new hair, I was looking for a change of location and sure enough Mam came up thrumps with a visit to the local pool. So with swim suit, hat, sun tan lotion (factor four hundred and 42 thousand) in hand, off we went. I must say I really enjoyed the day.

What's a Double O Seven girl?

Dad headed on his way back to Ireland today, I'll miss him, but I will still enjoy my time here with Megan & Claire. Just before he left Dad said "Before we'll know it you'll be a Bond girl", I have no idea what he's talking about?

Happy Christening cousin Claire

One of the main reasons for the trip to America, Claires christening, and wow was this a fashion affair, I just hope I can keep up the ladies of the OK / PdL families.
Claire for today you did a great job of being the baby belle of the ball.

Going Fishin' ?

With the canal just by Auntie Aileen's house I cannot help but want to go fishing, but D'parents says I'm too small for such a trip. I bet I'll get out there before the end of this holiday!

Curly headed Moe

Hair is not something I've really noticed, well seeing as I haven't had much, but with it growing at a rate of knots these past few weeks, more and more comments about my hair have been flying my way, and today, well today everyone just called me "Curly headed Moe", it must be the moisture in the air?

Would the real Kate PdL please stand up

We sang the song for hours yesterday, "We're all off to the zoo tomorrow, zoo tomorrow, zoo tomorrow, we can go all day". We packed up the car and ......................... we never made it to the Bronx zoo, rain, and lots of it.

We put the trip on hold and so as an alternative Mam & Dad decided to bring us to the LI Chilldren's museum. Good choice we had hours, and hours of indoor fun.

Ahhh that's bass

Still very hot here in LI, New York. I quench my thirst by picking up a can that is "cristalina y refrescante".

I'm been Seared

While in Rome, why not do what the Romans do, and this case I've not just got my picture taken, and I mean I really got my picture taken American style.

Tea party extreme

As this holiday has been very active, I saw now reason to stop and so on Sunday I took up on a barbeque invitation at the Forbes. The party was good fun, all out doors, all new people to meet, and lamb chops the size of a dinosaur legs!

Hi Ho, Hi Ho it's off to the beach we go

We've settled into our new location, here with Auntie Aileen. It's great here also, and so close to the beach.





you can see Megan & myself made a special trip today, and it was my first time on a swing, but I do wonder how do I get this thing started?

Hot damn summer in the city

After a great time at Uncle Richards, we are now on our way over to Auntie Aileen's, and as a treat we stopped off in Manhattan, and Central Park no less. What a beautiful park in the middle of such a massive city.

I've found my favourite food, Pizza, I Love it

Had my pizza today, Margarita, and it was just fantastic, I love it, just love it.
I must learn how to make it once I head home back to Ireland.

Great Auntie Jesus, que tal?

What a busy holiday schedule ...... thanks Dad.
I had a long journey today, made our way in to New York and after a couple of wrong turns by you know who (Dad), we eventually ended up at Great Auntie Jesus's casa. It was great joy to finally meet one of abuelo Rafa direct family, and those little words of castiano from Sesame Street really came in handie, "aqua por favor tia Jesus".
